I’m in the process of creating a series of a dozen or so oil paintings of scenes from the erupting Kilauea Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. I love paring the brilliant cadmium oranges and yellows with the rich Prussian blues and moody indigos.
These 5x7” pieces are the smallest of the set I have planned, which will include 8x10” pieces as well as a couple larger ones. Watch for my next blog for more paintings fresh off the easel.
